Sixways is located to the North East of Worcester, close to Junction 6 on the M5. Regular buses run from the town centre to the stadium.
TRAIN: Great Western Railway run a direct hourly service from London Paddington and Reading to Worcester. Journey time is approx. 2 hours 25 minutes from London and 1 hour 50 minutes from Reading.
There are two railway stations in Worcester, Shrub Hill and Foregate Street – the fares are generally the same to either station. Foregate Street is closer to the City centre from where a bus service to the stadium is available. Shrub Hill is closer to the stadium so would be the better option for those wanting to take a taxi to the stadium.
Details of buses from the town centre to the stadium can be found on the Worcester Warriors’ website.
COACH: Although National Express runs a direct coach service from London Victoria to Worcester, coach times are such that this would not be an option for those planning a day trip.
There are no direct coaches from Reading-Mereoak.
CAR: For those driving – see details from the Worcester Warriors’ website. Parking at the stadium is very limited – but there is a Park & Walk and a number of Park & Ride sites – full details of these are on the link above.
Planning a longer stay: Check the Visit Worcestershire website for information on accommodation, places to eat and things to do in Worcester and the surrounding area.
