Sale Sharks play their home matches at the AJ Bell Stadium, which is close to Junction 11 on the M60. The details below are mainly from the Sale Sharks website and local transport websites – travel options are listed on the Sale Sharks website.

Sale Sharks offer a free Shuttle Service to and from the Trafford Centre beginning 2 hours before KO (the last bus departs at the KO time) and running again from the stadium at full time for up to 1 hour after the final whistle. The shuttle bus service leaves from Stand 1 at the Intu Trafford Centre bus station.
There is also a free Sale Sharks Shuttle from Ladywell (pickup at bus stand B on Eccles New Road). Ladywell Shuttle Service is less than 10 minutes’ walk from Eccles interchange station and 1-minute walk from Ladywell Metrolink station). For an 8pm KO there are 2 buses at 6.45pm & 7.30pm.

The closest station to the AJ Bell Stadium by train is Eccles from which it is a 10-minute walk to Ladywell Metrolink for the Ladywell Shuttle Service (or transfer to the Metrolink system and travel 1 stop to Ladywell). There are infrequent trains to Eccles from both Manchester Piccadilly & Victoria and it is also on the Metrolink.

COACH: There is a direct National Express coach service from London Victoria to Manchester – there are over night coaches leaving Manchester at 11:50pm and 00:15am (Saturday morning), so a trip without an overnight stay is possible.
