Franklin’s Gardens is about a 20 minute walk from Northampton train station – there are a number of buses that go towards the ground (details can be found on the Northampton Saints website)
TRAIN: For those in London there is a direct train service with West Midland Trains from Euston to Northampton – journey times are approximately 1 hour each way.
From Reading routes are available via London and via Coventry. Journey times are typically a little over 2 hours on both routes, but there are more services and cheaper fares via London & you may find further savings by purchasing seperate tickets for Reading to London & London to Northampton. A day trip is just about possible from Reading via London, however you would need to make a swift exit from the ground to get the 10:04pm from Northampton – there is also a service from Northampton at 10:55pm, but there would be no underground service between Euston Square & Paddington.
COACH: National Express operate coach services between London and Northampton, for the outward journey direct services are available with a journey time of around 2 hours 15 minutes. A day trip is not possible by coach
From Reading-Mereoak there are no direct services, but journeys are available changing at Heathrow. A day trip is not possible.
CAR: For those driving – see details from the Northampton Saints website – or put NN5 5JT into your SatNav – and follow the signs for the car parks once you get near the stadium.
MATCH TICKETS: Tickets are available from the Northampton Saints Ticket website.
Adult ticket prices range from £33 in the corners & £35 standing to £60 for the best seats (it looks like there is no shipping fee for print at home tickets – I didn’t go through the full process so not sure if there are any other booking fees)
Planning a longer stay: Check the Visit Northamptonshire website for information on accommodation, places to eat and things to do in Worcester and the surrounding area.
