Sailosi Tagicakibau was born in November 1982 in Auckland, New Zealand.
Sailosi’s early rugby career in New Zealand saw him play provincial rugby for Taranaki and super rugby from the Chiefs.
He joined London Irish in 2005 and remained with the Exiles until 2014. During this time Sailosi made 157 appearances, scoring 57 tries.
Sailosi was a try scorer for London Irish in the 2008 Heineken Cup Semi Final and was also part of the side that reached the Premiership Final in 2009.
In 2014 Sailosi was loaned to the Stormers for the Super Rugby season and later in the year he joined Wasps, where he played until 2016.
Sailosi has 21 caps for Samoa, scoring 7 tries. He has played in the 2003, 2007 & 2011 World Cups. He also has 3 caps for the Pacific Islands and has played for the Barbarians.
