We recently had the opportunity to catch up with our Players of the Season from 2022/23 and present them with their keepsake awards.

Tom Pearson

On Good Friday we battled the Easter weekend traffic and headed up to Frankin’s Gardens to make a presentation to our Player of the Season, Tom Pearson. We were delighted that fellow Exiles Tarek Haffar and Chunya Munga were able to join us pitch side for the occasion.


Northampton were playing Saracens, which meant we were also able to say a brief hello to Oliver Hoskins, Tom Parton, Lucio Cinti and Juan Martin Gonzales.

We were given a warm welcome by both the Northampton Saints Supporters Club and the rugby club. We are indebted to Kirstie Blencowe of the supporters club and communications director Jack Miller for their assistance in arranging the presentation, including their photographer and announcer, as well as negotiating with DoR Phil Dowson to get some pre-match time with Tom, Tarek and Chunya.


Chandler Cunningham South

The following day, Easter Saturday, it was the turn of Young Player of the Season and Academy Player of the Season, Chandler Cunningham South.


It was great to have a catch-up with Chandler and Will Joseph, both of whom were out of action due to injuries, but making good recoveries.

We also bumped into Lovejoy Chawatama.


We received a similarly warm welcome at the Stoop, and we give our thanks to Phil Gibson of the QuinsSA and Henry Cox, Harlequins head of supporter and club engagement, who proved very helpful in arranging our event. They even included our presentation in their following matchday programme.
